The Bank Of Punjab (BOP) Appoints KPMG to study the feasibility of transformation to Islamic Bank.

The Bank of Punjab (BOP) has selected M/s. KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co. as its consultant to carry out a thorough analysis of the viability and conversion dynamics for BOP’s conversion of conventional banking activities into Islamic banking. The senior management of BOP and executives from KPMG attended the ceremony at the BOP headquarters to formally announce this partnership.


This feasibility study’s main goal is to evaluate all of the potential ramifications, difficulties, and operational complexities that switching to Islamic banking would entail.
