Subway unveils a flying restaurant that serves sandwiches 1000 feet above the ground.

The world offers a variety of unusual eating experiences, from having dinner in an Italian cliffside cave to having dinner in a Norwegian underwater restaurant. Even in South Florida, there are unique dining alternatives available, such as a breezy backyard barbecue at Regina’s Farm in Fort Lauderdale or an ag-centric feast at Swank Table at Swank Farm in Loxahatchee.

Beginning the following month, Subway will provide a select group of fans the opportunity to eat at a restaurant that is incredibly high and long. The fast food restaurant business will debut “Subway in the Sky” on September 1. It will feature a blimp that is shaped like a sub sandwich and invites customers to eat 1,000 feet in the air. Reservations will be accepted for September 24-26 for the three days the blimp will be in the Miami region.
